This is probably a totally inaccurate picture, but since I wore a (sort of) kimono for Halloween, I decided I wanted to draw some. So here's Alantra and Ishi-kun, wearing kimonos for no apparent reason. Are the kimono that guys wear even called kimono? I have no idea. I know they can, the colors are just much darker and plainer than the girl's. And the obi aren't as fancy, either. Yeah...
Well, Ala-chan is poking Ishi-kun because poking people is fun! Yay! Excuse the weird gradient thing; I scanned it out of a sketchbook, so the lighting is kind of wonky. I'll make it look nicer in the colored version. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.  reports, 1d 20h agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. |
