This is a picture of my boyfriend cosplaying L from Death Note. (I was Misa, by the way ) Ugh, there were SOO many Ls there! It was crazy! What annoyed us was that most of them weren't even trying. Many of the L cosplayers fell under one of these catagories:
Hair is too short, styled wrong, or an obvious wig. Eyes are not black or have no eye makeup. Perfectly normal, non-L based shoes. Obviously a woman and making no attempt at hiding this. Doesn't feel neurotic, hold things funny, and randomly stare at people.
C'mon L cosplayers! It may seem like the easy cosplay in the world to pull off, but it's all in the acting and details!
Anyway, we both decided that the most L-ish way of eating easily attainable Halloween candy was to cut it into pieces and skewer it onto a kabob. Voila! Bizarre L Kabobs! They're made of Starburst, dark chocolate Milky Ways, and Twix, by the way.
Sorry the picture is a little blurry. It's so hard to take decent pictures in that hotel.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.

I used to be indifferent. Now I don't care.
The scariest kind of person is a rebel without cause. They will have no reason to stop, for they are rebeling against nothing.
